Los Angeles 2008

This is the beach at Santa Monica Pier. Even after
sunset people were still in the water
(shark-feeding time?) and strolling along the beach. |

Los Angeles -
The weather was gorgeous and our good friend Carla
took us to see all the famous places -
Sunset Blvd, Hollywood & Vine,
Musso
and Frank's, Grauman's Chinese Theatre,
Kodak Theatre, and
Rodeo
Drive. We had a beautiful ride up the Pacific Coast Highway to
Malibu and then to the Santa Monica Pier
and the
Third Street
Promenade. We did the
Universal Studios
Hollywood Tour and we ate non-stop. Dianne
and I had our pictures taken with "Elvis." She has a picture beside
Zorro. We saw Laurel & Hardy, two identical Marilyn Monroe's and a
weird, very old Marilyn who talked to herself. And then there was
the scary 6-foot tall Cat Woman. We didn't see any celebrities and
no casting agents offered us any movie contracts. |
